The breeze, full of knowing, pushes itself through the screen,
Dances over my skin as I lay on top of pummeled bedclothes.
Fan paddles stir the night from raw yolks and fine powder
Until they becomes something thick and delicious, that I can't name.
It clings like a soft dough in the corners of my mind, perfectly spun, yet unseen.
In the dark night, beyond fluttering curtains, the moon drips with stories.
I throw back my head and taste the luscious words on my lips.
